Larry Savvides

Co-Founder, Prayer Orthodoxy

Born into a Greek Orthodox family with roots in Cyprus, Larry Savvides was raised in the Church, serving in the altar, attending Sunday school, and learning the faith through the example of his parents. Having lived on the island of Cyprus, he spent time visiting monasteries, learning Byzantine chanting, and studying sacred art under the influence of his uncle, a classical iconographer.

A lifelong student of Church Tradition, Scripture, and the Fathers, Larry has visited monasteries across Cyprus, Mount Athos, Meteora, and Thessaloniki.

Professionally managing luxury hospitality brands, he brought his eye for quality into creating Prayer Orthodoxy, a family-founded brand offering high-quality Orthodox apparel.

Alexandros Savvides is a 20-year-old entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Prayer Orthodoxy. A Dean’s List student at the University of South Florida’s Muma College of Business, he combines his passion for faith and entrepreneurship to lead the brand’s operations, creative strategy, and growth.

Dedicated to building something meaningful, Alexandros has worked tirelessly to transform Prayer Orthodoxy into a purpose-driven movement — one that allows believers to express their faith boldly through apparel rooted in Orthodox tradition. Inspired by his brother’s path as a seminarian at Hellenic College Holy Cross, Alexandros strives to create a brand that not only represents Orthodoxy but actively supports it.
